Minimum fare is $80. A $50 surcharge applies to pick-ups after 9 pm and before 4:30 am. Tolls are included, and there is no public holiday surcharge. Hourly hire is quoted by phone. Every other address is priced instantly and paid online.
Your Private Vehicle: Seven Seats and the Boot to Match
A 2025 Kia Carnival GT-Line, cleaned between every job, booked for your group alone. Seven seats and six large suitcases.
The boot handles what other operators avoid putting in writing. Seven sets of golf clubs fit across it. A racing bike, in its case, goes straight in without folding the seat down. Surfboards and longboards travel with the second-row middle seat folded.
Inside, the second row has its own air-conditioning controls and heated seats on both door sides, and the second and third rows have window shades. Bottled water, five charging points and mints are on board. It is a diesel, and quiet enough that passengers regularly ask whether it is electric.

What you book is the whole thing to yourself. One group in the car: a driver who already has your address and pick-up time, and a fare settled before the day, so nothing needs sorting at the kerb. What changes from one booking to the next is what that has to look like for you.
Families
Capsule, rear-facing, forward-facing, and booster seats are available, two of each, on request at an additional cost. Second-row climate control and window shades keep younger passengers comfortable, and theme park runs are booked the same way as an airport transfer.
Groups of up to seven

Corporate and event travel
A set fare and a vehicle allocated before the day, paid in advance so nobody has to settle up at the kerb. Corporate transfers, conference pick-ups and wedding transfers use the same form.

The Trips Where a Private Transfer Earns Its Price
Anyone on an early flight knows the first one. An early-morning flight means arranging transport while most of the city is still asleep. With a pre-booked transfer, your collection time and fare are settled before travel day. Booked ahead, the vehicle is allocated to your name, the $50 early surcharge is already inside the price you agreed, and nothing is left to arrange on the morning.
Families landing off a long haul have the opposite problem. Fourteen hours in the air, two kids past the point of reason, a pram and a trolley you cannot steer, and a shared shuttle that may involve waiting for or travelling with other passengers. A private transfer leaves when your group is in it, stops where you are staying, and waiting time is not charged when a flight lands late.
Groups travelling with gear get caught by space. Bulky sporting equipment can create space problems in smaller vehicles. The Kia Carnival can carry up to seven golf bags across the boot. Seven sets fit across this boot, and the fare covers the vehicle, so it does not move.
One honest exception. For a solo traveller with little luggage, price may be the deciding factor. A private transfer becomes particularly useful when reliability, luggage space, group travel or an early or late collection matters. A private transfer earns its price when people, luggage or an awkward hour are involved.

Is the vehicle private, or will we share it with other passengers?
Entirely yours. King Coach Transfers offers private transfers only, so the Kia Carnival is booked for your group and will drive straight to your destination. Nobody else is collected along the way, and there are no other drop-offs. That is the difference between a private transfer and a shared shuttle.
