Private Chauffeur Service for Airport and Regional Transfers
King Coach Transfers provides a private chauffeur service for airport transfers, business travel, special events and longer regional journeys across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. Pre-booked transfers are available to Brisbane Airport (BNE), Gold Coast Airport (OOL), Brisbane CBD, the Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and other destinations.

Minimum fare is $80. A $50 surcharge applies to pick-ups after 9 pm and before 4:30 am. Tolls are included, there is no public holiday surcharge, and there are no hidden costs added afterwards. Every other address is priced instantly on the booking form, and the fare covers the vehicle rather than each head, so one passenger or seven pays the same.
Room for Passengers, Luggage and Sporting Gear
The 2025 Kia Carnival GT-Line can carry up to seven passengers and approximately six large suitcases. If you are travelling with a large group and close to the maximum passenger and luggage capacity, call 0477 787 701 before booking we can confirm everything will fit comfortably.
There is also room for sporting equipment. Up to seven golf bags can fit across the boot, while a racing bicycle in its case can be carried without folding down the seats. Surfboards and longboards can also be accommodated by folding the second-row middle seat. There is no extra fee for carrying this gear.
Inside, the vehicle includes second-row air-conditioning controls, heated door-side seats, window shades for the second and third rows, bottled water and multiple charging points. The Kia Carnival GT-Line is a diesel vehicle known for its smooth, quiet ride, with passengers often commenting on how quiet it is and they often ask, if the vehicle is an electric vehicle.
When a Private Chauffeur Makes Travel Easier
Some trips are simply easier when the transport is arranged before you leave.
- Early-morning airport transfers are one example. When you have a flight before sunrise, you do not want to be checking rideshare availability or arranging transport at the last minute. A pre-booked chauffeur transfer means your pick-up is already arranged, with the price confirmed before the journey.
- Families travelling with children have different priorities. After a long flight, the last thing you want is to organise separate transport for children, luggage and a pram. King Coach Transfers can accommodate families, luggage, and child seats in a single private vehicle, with no additional waiting charge if your flight is delayed.
- Groups travelling with bulky luggage or sporting equipment can also run into space problems with standard vehicles. The Kia Carnival GT-Line can carry up to seven passengers, with room for large suitcases, golf bags, racing bicycles and surfboards depending on the passenger and luggage combination.
And because your booking covers the vehicle rather than individual seats, groups of up to 7 passengers travel at the same vehicle fare. For airport transfers, family trips and journeys where timing, luggage or group size matters, a private chauffeur service removes much of the uncertainty from the trip.
Travelling With Children
Families can request child seats or baby seats when booking, including capsule, rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats. King Coach Transfers has two of each seat type available, so let John know the ages of the children travelling and include any other special requests when you book.
The child seat is supplied for the journey, with parents responsible for fitting it. You are also welcome to bring your own child seat as long as it is clean and suitable for use in the vehicle.
Because the fare covers the private vehicle rather than each passenger, families and other groups pay the same vehicle fare whether one person or up to seven passengers are travelling on the same route.
Chauffeur Hire for Longer Events and Waiting Time
Some bookings need more than a simple pick-up and drop-off. For weddings and special events, John can remain available between parts of the day, with a four-hour waiting rate of $400 or an eight-hour rate of $770.
For theme parks and other longer bookings, the best option depends on the itinerary. In many cases, two pre-booked one-way transfers are more practical than keeping the vehicle waiting all day. As an example, a Surfers Paradise hotel-to-Movie World transfer for a family of five is around $80 each way, or approximately $160 return.

Is the Vehicle Private, or Will We Share It?
Entirely yours. King Coach Transfers offers private transfers only, so the Kia Carnival is booked for your group and will drive straight to your destination. Nobody else is collected along the way, and there are no other drop-offs. That is the difference between a private chauffeur transfer and a shared shuttle.

King Coach Transfers is owner-driven, with John personally handling standard bookings. He brings 28 years of professional driving experience and has completed more than 1,700 trips. How Much Is a Chauffeur Airport Transfer on the Gold Coast?
Flat fares apply on the core runs: $110 from Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach or Main Beach to Gold Coast Airport, and $240 from the Surfers Paradise area to Brisbane Airport or the CBD. Everything else is priced instantly on the booking form. Minimum fare is $80, tolls included, with a $50 surcharge after 9 pm and before 4:30 am.
What Happens if My Flight Is Delayed?
Send your flight number when you book, then call as soon as you know the new time. Waiting time on a delayed flight is not charged. If you are flying into Australia from overseas, check the landing date carefully, as it can differ from the departure date in your home country.
Can You Take More Than Seven Passengers?
For groups of more than seven, John can organise another driver in a similar-quality vehicle. Call with your passenger and luggage numbers so we can quote the complete trip. What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are refunded, less a $50 non-refundable booking fee. If a passenger cannot be reached at the pick-up point after attempts by phone, text and email, the fare is not refunded.
