A More Flexible Way to Travel

Some days call for more than a simple point-to-point transfer. Spend the afternoon around Tamborine Mountain, plan a day in Byron Bay, or book private transport for a birthday, anniversary or family outing.

With private chauffeur hire, your group has a private vehicle and chauffeur for the duration of your booking. Plan your own stops and timing without joining a group tour or sharing the vehicle with other passengers. KCT only operates private trips, so your booking stays with your group.

Four hours is $400. Eight hours is $770. The rate is for the vehicle, whether one passenger travels or up to seven. Tolls are included.

An hour south of Surfers Paradise. Cape Byron Lighthouse in the morning, lunch in town, a swim at Wategos and home by dinner. No parking, no queue at the pass, no rideshare wait at the end.

Queensland’s most awarded winery, around 45 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 40 minutes from central Brisbane. Cellar door tastings, lunch at Tuscan Terrace and back the same afternoon. Works as a half-day or full-day booking.

Your Private Charter Vehicle: 2025 Kia Carnival GT-Line

The 2025 Kia Carnival GT-Line. Seven seats and six large suitcases. A boot that carries golf bags across ways, boxed bikes without folding a seat, and longboards with the middle row down.

Inside, the second row has separate climate control and heated door-side seats. Window shades on the second and third rows. Five charging points and bottled water on board. A diesel quiet enough that passengers regularly ask whether it is electric.

The $50 booking fee is non-refundable. Pets are not carried.

What Does a Private Chauffeur Charter Include?
A private charter includes the 2025 Kia Carnival GT-Line and a professional chauffeur for the number of hours you book, along with fuel and tolls on Gold Coast and Brisbane runs. You choose the destinations, the stops and how long you spend at each. Winery tastings, cellar-door fees, restaurant bookings and attraction entry tickets are separate. You pay those directly to the venue on the day.
A half-day charter is $400 for up to 4 hours. A full-day charter is $770 for up to 8 hours. The rate covers the block rather than each hour, so a half-day is still $400, whether you use three or four hours. For a day that needs to run beyond eight hours, or for longer regional charters into the Sunshine Coast, call before booking so we can plan around the extra time.

Yes. Transport to Sirromet Winery from the Gold Coast is one of the regular charter runs we quote. Sirromet is at Mount Cotton, around 45 minutes to an hour from Surfers Paradise and about 40 minutes from central Brisbane. It fits comfortably into either a half-day or a full-day charter, with time for cellar-door tastings and lunch at the on-site Tuscan Terrace restaurant.
The Kia Carnival seats up to seven passengers with room for six large suitcases and day-packs. For groups of more than seven, we arrange a second driver in a similarly high-quality vehicle under the same booking, so you deal with one point of contact for the whole day. Call with the group size, destinations, and timing so the day can be quoted as a single arrangement.
A week’s notice suits most days and gives us time to plan around your itinerary. Weekends during peak season are best booked two or three weeks in advance, particularly for wine-country days on Tamborine Mountain and Byron Bay day trips. Same-day charter is sometimes possible depending on vehicle availability. Call or text 0477 787 701 rather than booking online for a same-day request.
Charter beyond the booked block is worked out on the day where it can be, subject to what else is on the schedule. A pickup after 9 pm attracts a $50 late surcharge. If you already know a day is likely to run past the eight-hour mark, mention it when you book so we can build the extra time into the plan and quote it up front rather than sorting it out at the venue.
