Comfort and Capacity

The 2025 Kia Carnival GT-Line is the primary vehicle used for standard bookings. It is booked privately for your group.

It carries up to seven passengers and around six large suitcases. Golf bags, a boxed racing bike and surfboards can also be accommodated depending on the passenger and luggage setup. Mention larger equipment when booking.

On board, passengers have bottled water, charging points, second-row climate controls, heated outer seats in row two and window shades in the rear.

King Coach Transfers was founded by John, a Gold Coast local since 2004. He has 28 years of professional driving experience and has completed more than 1,700 private transfers.

John holds a Queensland Driver Authorisation and Booked Hire Service Licence.

Private Transfers We Do

Gold Coast Airport (OOL) Transfers

Gold Coast Airport, also known as Coolangatta Airport, sits at the southern end of the Gold Coast. Domestic and international airport transfers are available from suburbs across the coast.

From Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach or Main Beach, the airport fare is a flat $110 for the vehicle. One passenger or seven pays the same because the booking is for the vehicle, not individual seats.

Send your flight number when booking. Waiting time for a delayed flight is not charged. For early departures, a $50 surcharge applies to pick-ups before 4.30am.

Brisbane Airport transfers from the Surfers Paradise area are a flat $240, one-way. The same fare applies to Brisbane CBD hotels and offices.

For standard bookings, the primary Kia Carnival carries up to seven passengers and six large suitcases. If your group is near the passenger or luggage limit, contact us before booking.

Airport transfer services are pre-booked, so your vehicle and fare are arranged before travel day.

Private theme park transfers are available to:

Theme park fares vary by pickup point and destination. Use the booking form for the current fare for your trip.

Child restraints are available on request. King Coach Transfers has two of each type, including capsules, rear-facing seats, forward-facing seats and boosters.

King Coach Transfers also provides private transfers for weddings, events, corporate travel and chauffeur bookings across the Gold Coast.

Wedding and event bookings can include drop-off, collection or multiple pre-arranged trips. Hourly hire is also available at $400 for up to four hours or $770 for up to eight hours.

The transfer service extends beyond the Gold Coast. Byron Bay is a flat $220 from Surfers Paradise. Transfers are also available to Tweed Heads and destinations across Northern NSW. Sunshine Coast destinations include Noosa, Caloundra and Mooloolaba. Other longer-distance transfers across South East Queensland are available by quote.

Gold Coast Transfer Fares

A $50 surcharge applies to pick-ups after 9pm and before 4.30am. Tolls are included and there is currently no public holiday surcharge.

Is the Vehicle Private, or Will We Share It?
The vehicle is private. King Coach Transfers does not combine unrelated passenger groups into one transfer. Your booking is for your group, and the vehicle travels directly to your destination.

Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach or Main Beach to Gold Coast Airport is $110. The fare from Surfers Paradise to Brisbane Airport or Brisbane CBD is $240. Byron Bay is $220 from Surfers Paradise. Other journeys can be priced through the online booking form. The minimum fare is $80.

Yes. Coolangatta Airport is the older name commonly used for Gold Coast Airport, airport code OOL. It is located at the southern end of the Gold Coast near the Tweed Heads border.

Yes. Capsules, rear-facing seats, forward-facing seats and boosters are available on request. We have two of each type. Let us know the ages of the children travelling when you book.
Provide your flight number when booking. Waiting time for delayed flights is not currently charged. If you are arriving from overseas, double-check the landing date. Your arrival date in Australia may differ from the date you departed.

Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a refund, less the $50 non-refundable booking fee. If a passenger cannot be contacted at the pick-up point, the trip is not refunded. Pets are not carried.
